Chorizanthe procumbens

A generally decumbent 2-8 cm. hairy annual; uncommon in sandy soil and gravel in coastal sage scrub, San Joaquin Hills, southeast coast and northern mountain foothills (Roberts). 

Listed as a species of Local Concern, locally rare within Orange County.
