Golden Currant

Ribes aureum

Occurs wild in Harding Canyon and Temescal Valley. Scarce in moist shaded areas.  It can grow to 3-6' with smooth leaves.  There are 5-15 long slender floral tubes per raceme.  Fruits are a hairless orange or yellow berry.
