collection are from the Audubon Wildlife
Slides. This library consists of slides of North American vertebrates,
with an emphasis on birds. There is also a large collection of habitat slides.

Slide #1st line: English and
scientific name (from the most recent checklist of the American Ornithologists'
Abundance:
Abundant: More than 100 to be seen
most days in its seasons at the reserve.
Very common: Between 11 and 100 to
be seen most days in its seasons here.
Common: Between 1 and 10 to be seen
most days in its seasons here.
Uncommon: Not to be seen daily.
Rare: Seen only a few times each
year.
Occasional: Not seen every year.
Accidental: Fewer than five
records.
Extirpated:
Formerly regular, but no longer present.
Slide #2nd entry - Seasons at the
reserve. Months vary with the species. Some winter birds are absent for only a
month or so.
Slide #3rd entry - Habitats, with
most frequent first.
Slide #4th entry - breeding status,
if any.
5th entry -
special status, if any.
3rd and subsequent lines contain
