Back to Natural History of Orange County, California

This small, slender, long-legged spider is often found in homes and especially in dark areas like closets, garages and cellars. Here it is shown wrapping and feeding on Argentine ants, which are usually said to have no known predators!

Don't confuse this Daddy Longlegs SPIDER with the true Daddy Longlegs, which is another name for the Harvestman.
