Bombus crotchii

On B. californicus there is a yellow band is on the 4th abdominal segment, whereas B. crotchii females have a larger yellow band on the 2nd abdominal segment and a sometimes-visible patch of orange near the end of the abdomen. Thanks to Kristal Watrous, Woodard Lab Entomology Dept., UC Riverside
